Monterey Jiujitsu just got lucky!  On Saturday, June 27th, BJJ Sensation Rodolfo Vieira will be in Monterey for one day only.

The ENTIRE BJJ world is talking about Rodolfo Vieira.

As a Brown Belt, Rodolfo won the title of 2009 Abu Dhabi World Pro Jiujitsu Cup Champion. Not many people can claim victory over elite Black Belts like Braulio Estima, Antonio Braga Neto, and Rafael Lovato Jr. But how many people can say that they beat them in competition as a Brown Belt?

For the past two years, Rodolfo’s performances have been setting the BJJ world on fire. As a purple belt, he won the Brazilian Nationals. But based on the strength of his performance, he was promoted to Brown Belt just a few months before worlds.

Although the step up in competition can be a tough one for most people, it was no problem for Rodolfo. He went through the Brown Belt Absolute category at Mundials and took first place.  Still a Brown Belt, he was invited to participate the 2009  Abu Dhabi World Pro Jiu-Jitsu Cup, where he faced and defeated some of the toughest Black Belts in the world.

Nicknamed “The Black Belt Hunter”, Rodolfo has a very technical style that has proven itself in competitions at all levels.

Don’t miss your chance to train with him this Saturday in Monterey. Hosted by Daniel Thomas, a Brazilian Jiujitsu Black Belt under Claudio Franca, the seminar will take place at Bodyworx Academy in Monterey.
